Fourth edition. 8vo (7.5 x 6 inches), n.p., 30 engraved maps, comprising 29 maps of the ancient world and its several kingdoms and provinces, with a thirtieth map of places mentioned in the Old and New Testaments; several double-page.  Contemporary half calf over marbled boards in pink, slate, and black; two raised bands to spine. Maps seem unopened. front and rear hinges cracked but still holding; spine rubbed, board corners worn; moderate foxing to preliminaries; endpapers toned. Good. Item #144197
