Residue from something removed from cover of part 16. In black leather pull-off case.
“Newcomes Advertiser” ads present in all parts except 1, 4, and 13, which have no ads. Many of the ads and slips are present to indicate this is mostly a first issue set but it lacks some, notably the slip for “Great Northern Railway.” Van Duzer 147.
