A handsome half-leather binding in dark brown polished morocco with raised bands and gilt-lettered  panels over peacock-wave marbled paper in rich autumnal tones with well-defined combing throughout. Binding is tight and square with minimal wear. A fine example of late twentieth-century James Tapley binding.
