Presumed first as previous author's name and the date '1908' are written on half-title page. Spine slightly shaken; moderate shelfwear to spine ends with some darkening; and surface tear to opposite page at top left corner; plate at pp. 88 loose but laid in; gutter splitting at pp. 72; occasional foxing and fading to block pages.
